I was fortunate to have the opportunity to use the ice and equipment at the CCTC 6 weeks after I had my second daughter ( not to mention taking the prior season off due to being pregnant at the height of COVID). I spent the off season ( May2021 to August 2021 ) multiple times a week working with the laser equipment and getting my lines and releases back in check. I also used the equipment to workon sweeping techniques. I have hundreds of videos taken at CCTC that I was able to use and analyze. I am forever grateful for the time utilized at the centre that helped me bounce back and ultimately help my team win the Olympic Trials.
